Topic, Outcomes and Leaner Knowledge Gap

• Multimedia Workshop:
  • Topic: The use of web tools in the classroom to differentiate, promote collaboration and motivate students.
  • Population: The workshop will be designed for teachers in São Tomé and Príncipe
  • Outcomes: Show teachers that they can differentiate instruction through the use of digital tools and that they can promote collaboration which will motivate the students.
  • Gap: The teachers in São Tomé do not use usually use any type multimedia in their classrooms. They know very little about computers and their use in the classroom. This workshop will be a demonstration of how a lesson can be prepared in a way that each student can work independently or in collaboration with other students, on a project which has similar objectives.
